Q. hoopla limits

I tried to get a book from hoopla and got a message about my limit being reached.  I haven't checked anything out recently - what does this mean?

Answer

The message you saw is about the library's daily lending limit which we have in place to spread out our Hoopla budget over the month. Once that daily limit has been reached (often by the evening) no patrons may download anything from Hoopla until the limit resets at midnight MST. This is totally separate from your personal 4 item/month limit, so if you ever get that error message again just try again after midnight or early the next day. Hoopla is a popular service at BPL so we put these limits in place to try and give everyone equal access as best we can.
