I'd like to request the library purchase the book "Becoming Steve Jobs" when it becomes available later this month. It's going to be very popular. (And put it on hold for me!)
Looks like you've got the audio book pre-ordered, but not the paper book

Answer

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us. I've added this title to our order carts. You'll likely see the title in about a week in the catalog. You might also enjoy browsing the reading and book page to find read-alikes and new book additons.

If you would like to suggest titles to be purchased, and to be placed on hold for you, you can do so through your account login screen.

  • Login to your account.
  • Choose "material requests" from the options on the left side.
  • Enter the required text into the form (title and format are required) and select whether it be placed on hold for you or requested from another library if not purchased.  Enter your email address to receive a reply.
  • Submit the form. Your item will be placed on hold for you if it was ordered or you'll be notified of the reason if not ordered

Thank you for the suggestions!

Kind regards,

Gina

  1. I was hoping you'd inform everyone in your answer on how, exactly, to suggest or request a book that the library doesn't own.
