Q. is there an audio version of pygmalion?

Thanks so much for contacting us. It looks like you have two options for an audio edition of Pygmalion. We can get an audio copy of Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw on two discs from our Prospector catalog.  If you'd like us to request it for you, please let me know your card number and at what branch you'd like to pick it up.  You may of course request it yourself from Prospector by visiting this link: http://tinyurl.com/q9yreaf

Your other option is to use our new hoopla service, which has a streaming (or downloadable to mobile devices) audiobook copy. To use hoopla you need to create a hoopla account using your library card. This gives you access to the service and you can then borrow the digital copy for 3 weeks (you can easily check it out again, since there is unlimited simultaneous access to these titles).

To find out more about this new service, please visit the audiobook selections on the eCollections page. There are instructions and FAQs on how to get started, but it's pretty simple: Create your account, sign in, and borrow the title. Depending on the device on which you are listening, you'll need to download and install an app, before you can stream or download to your device (downloads only work on mobile devices like phones, not on PC/MAC desktops/laptops---these latter require an internet connection to stream).  I've attached these documents here as well as well as a short video on the service.

Let me know if you need assistance either obtaining the physical CD copy or using the streaming service.

Thanks so much,
