I've heard about a program/service called Kanopy. It may offer movies to those who have a library card. What can you tell me?

Thank you for your interest in the Kanopy video streaming service. You are right--this resource is available to Boulder library card holders and gives you access to thousands of films, including critically acclaimed documentaries, independent films, the "Great Courses" series, and the Criterion Collection. For more information, please see our Video eCollections page located on our website at (also accessible from our home page by clicking on "Download & Stream." Users are currently limited to 5 Check-Outs per month.

Please note that we also offer access to the Hoopla service, also available from the Video eCollections page, which includes a completely different selection of movies, along with ebooks and audiobooks.

If you have any further questions about either of these resources, please feel free to give us a call at 303-441-3100. We'd be happy to walk you through the set-up process. I hope you find many films to check out and enjoy.
