Audiobooks for iPhone during commutes?

Hi Bldr Library, Does the library "lend" audiobooks (similar to podcasts) that can be downloaded onto a mobile phone? That'd be great for commuting. Thanks

Thanks for the great question!  I have a great answer:  YES.  We do have audiobooks you can stream or download to your mobile phone (smart phone or in some cases, mp3 player)

Here is the link to our download and streaming collection (we have ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music and eMagazines). Click on audiobooks.

You'll see instructions and links to the apps underneath each of the two primary collections for audiobooks, Overdrive and Hoopla. You'll want to read these and download your app before you download content. Each operates a bit differently.

Feel free to give us a call at 303-441-3100 and press 0  should you encounter any difficulty.  You can also set up an appointment with a librarian to get started using our digital collections.
