Does the library offer computer applications classes (MicroSoft) either online or on site?

Thanks for contacting us. We do have several options for online instruction for Microsoft applications.  These can be found under our Lifelong Learning link on the green menu bar at the top of our webpages and selecting Continuing Ed.

The two resources you will find most useful are Gale Courses and Atomic Training. They function a little differently.

Gale Courses are 6 week instructor led courses that are offered every month. Lessons roll out every week and you take the class online with an instructor and other students. You have quizzes and final exam.

Atomic Training offers self paced video instruction on a variety of application, across different versions. You can choose what you want to learn and watch the appropriate videos (e.g. Microsoft Word 2010) from beginning to advanced.

Both of these complement each other in the style of instruction. I have attached all the direct links and help guides here as well.

Can you provide more detail on what you are hoping to learn?  There may be community resources and websites to which I can refer you.
